About Us
We're here to make entertaining at home more fun, more impactful, more you.
A studio born from a long table and a longer dinner.
Bad Harvest began the way most good things do: accidentally, over wine. What started as quietly obsessive dinners for friends grew into a practice shaped by the same instincts: generosity, restraint, and a low flicker of drama.
Gatherings worth talking about for a week straight.
At Bad Harvest we believe your next gathering deserves to be talked about long after the last glass is poured. We curate home goods and wares designed to make a dramatic statement, from glassware and serving essentials to decor and host gifts, so saying "come over for dinner this weekend" feels easy.
Need a little more help to pull things off? Our co-hosting services are available virtually and in person. Whether it's girls' night, dinner for the in-laws, or your first time hosting Thanksgiving for the whole family, we're here to help you plan and execute every detail.

A small superstition, said out loud.
Long ago, when communities relied on a successful crop to see them through the season, superstition was as powerful as a soaking rain. Farmers would shout "bad harvest!" to keep the gods from being jealous of their good fortune and ensure a bountiful year ahead.
We're just as superstitious when it comes to hosting the perfect evening. Today we offer our modern Bad Harvest in hopes that you and your home continue to enjoy all the best that life has to offer. Perhaps with less tilling of the soil, and a bit more laughter over a bottle of wine. Now, pour yourself a drink and linger a while.

Jasmine Mahboob.
Hey, I'm Jasmine. Yes, that's really my last name. And yes, it's pronounced exactly the way you think it is.
When I was a teenager, a family friend generously commented that I was a fantastic host during a backyard summer picnic. I've been doing my best to live up to the compliment ever since. What started as a few friends over for dinner and drinks in New York City turned into packing up my entire kitchen and co-hosting events across the country with my now husband, Chris. Getting people together for drinks, a meal, and a damn good time is the best high I could ask for, and doing it surrounded by beautiful and interesting things is the cherry on top.
Over a decade working in design, hospitality, and entertainment in New York City taught me that there are rules to be respected and many more to be broken. Whether your space is small or you have room for every type of glassware known to mankind, there's always an opportunity to make something dramatic and memorable. My advice? Try the weird thing. Take a chance on an unknown ingredient. And always throw spilled salt over your left shoulder.
Have a room, a table, or a night in mind?
We take on a small number of projects each season. The earlier we meet, the more deeply we can design.
