WHY ‘BAD HARVEST’?
Long ago when families relied on a successful crop to see them through the season, superstition was just as powerful as a long, soaking rain. It's said that farmers would shout “bad harvest!” to keep the gods from being jealous of their good fortune. Today we bring you Bad Harvest in hopes that you and your home continue to enjoy all the best that life has to offer. Perhaps with less tilling of the soil and a bit more laughter over a delicious bottle of wine.

Impress your guests with a cheeky party trick: mix up a welcome cocktail, then invite your guests to garnish their own drink with something special when they arrive.
New Yorker, Wine Fanatic, Dinner Party Enthusiast.
When I was a teenager, a family friend generously commented that I was a fantastic host during a backyard summer picnic. I’ve been doing my best to live up to that compliment ever since. The joy of having people over for a drink, a nibble (or feast), and a hearty dose of laughter never ceases to amaze me. And doing it surrounded by beautiful and interesting things is the cherry on top.
Over a decade working in design, hospitality, and entertainment in New York City has taught me that there are rules to be respected and many more to be broken. Whether your space is small (like mine!) or you have room for every type of glassware known to mankind, there’s always an opportunity to make something dramatic and memorable. Try the weird thing. Take a chance on an unknown ingredient. And always throw spilled salt over your left shoulder.
